Mitt Romney, A Damn Liar!

It's one thing to lie when no one can prove you lied. There's no damning evidence that you're not telling the truth. There are no witnesses to state unequivocally that you're lying and that no one should believe you. There's no body in a ditch somewhere, well you know what I'm getting at. It doesn't take much heart on ones part to lie to ones face when they know they're guilty. Like the lawyers say, "It's not what you know, it's what you can prove". Last year there was a man that ran for the office of the Presidency against the incumbent Barack Obama, and this man made lie after gaff after lie, all of which could be proven. Thankfully this liar lost in his bid to become president, and he subsequently faded into obscurity, or so we thought.

He's back, and this time he's armed with the boldest of lies!!! That would be the tag line on the Romney II sequel movie poster, were there one. This time around Mitt the liar is trying to convince us all that a statement he said during his losing campaign was taken "out of context". He wants us all to believe that he was misunderstood, that he didn't mean it the way it was perceived. It was the statement that bit him in the ass and cut his campaign off at the knees, that dreadful 47% comment.

Now Mitt is calling me a fool, and not just me but everyone else who know what they heard when that comment went viral. Now he's saying we all took it the wrong way. Now just in case you missed it, Mitt said this about the 47% of the people that will never vote for him at a 2012 fundraiser in Florida that was closed to the press,

"And so my job is not to worry about those people [the 47%] -- I'll never convince them that they should take personal responsibility and care for their lives. What I have to do is convince the 5 to 10 percent in the center that are independents, that are thoughtful, that look at voting one way or the other depending upon in some cases emotion, whether they like the guy or not, what it looks like."

Mitt then said this recently in an interview with the Washington Post's Dan Balz,

"Actually, I didn't say that ...That's how it began to be perceived, and so I had to ultimately respond to the perception, because perception is reality."

No disrespect meant to Mr. Balz' last name, but it takes a serious pair to make a comment like that after EVERYONE knows what you said, and how you meant it. Don't insult my intelligence Mitt, I hate it when people do that, when they try to make it seem like what I know and what I believe is concrete to be false. You made that 47% comment in a room full of people that feel the exact same way you did. You knew going in that you were going to be throwing red meat to your most ardent supporters, you unshakable base. You knew a room full of millionaires would eat that nonsense up so you spoon fed it to them in what you thought was a private conversation amongst the wealthy. Basically you got exposed.

So now that you want us to believe that you didn't say that, do you also want us to believe your many other lies as well, like the one about Jeep? Or how about the one where you wanted the American people to believe that you weren't a corporate raider when you were at Bain Capitol? How about when you said you don't line up with the NRA before you ran for President only to do a complete 180 and state that you are a lifetime member of the NRA when on the campaign trail. I could run down a list of every lie that fell from Mitt's lips but my fingers might fall off. And now you want me to believe that the infamous 47% crack was taken out of context. Maybe when the sky turns a deep shade of purple and zombies walk the earth.

What I don't understand though is why is he back? Why is he giving interviews with the Washington Post of all papers? Does he have a book out that he's pushing? Is he trying to be a king maker in the GOP in 2016? I mean, doesn't he know his name is dirt and just getting worse? Right now he's on the same level as that woman who could see Russia from her house so I don't get it. I'm sure it will all be revealed in time, until then I will continue to believe what I believe, and what I believe with all my heart is Mitt Romney is a damn liar.

  1. They are trying in vain to leverage our minuscule attention span. Yeah...it's not that short Mitt. Fire your spin guy immediately. He's blowing smoke up your ass and taking your money. You're not going to be able to recover from the 47% comment. As was mentioned above...go have lunch with Palin. Maybe you two bafoons can rule Alaska. lol
